Love the Hibiscus Tea!

I just received my Hibiscus Tea and it's fantastic! The color is gorgeous and the taste is so refreshing, especially as an iced tea. It came perfectly packaged too. I'm so happy with this purchase and will absolutely be back for more teas and maybe a sampler next time!

Good Earl Grey, fast shipping

I got the Double Cream Earl Grey last week. It arrived super quick, like three days later, which was nice. The tea itself is really smooth and has a great flavor, not too strong. I'd definitely get it again.

Great value on Matcha

I was looking for some good quality Organic Matcha but didn't want to spend a fortune. Organic Origins had a good price, especially with the free shipping deal over $75. I stocked up on their Ceremonial Grade Matcha and a bamboo whisk. Everything arrived well-packaged and the matcha is really vibrant. Felt like a solid purchase for the price.

Decent tea, minor delay

I ordered the Sencha Green Tea and a Glass Teapot. The tea is quite good, very fresh and has a nice subtle sweetness. The teapot is also sturdy and looks nice. My only small issue was that the order took about 8 days to reach me in California, which was a bit longer than I expected, but it wasn't a huge deal. Customer service was helpful when I inquired about the tracking. Overall, a positive experience.

what's the deal with returns? if I open a tea and don't like it, am I stuck with it?

C Cleo L. 1 month ago
I don't think you can return opened tea for a refund for hygiene reasons. Most places are like that. I'd double check their policy on the site though.

Yeah, pretty sure once it's open it's yours. Maybe try a sampler first if you're unsure about a new flavor? That's what I do.

hey, anyone know if the 10% off for signing up for emails stacks with other discounts? trying to get a gift set for my mom's birthday.

M Megan 1 month ago
Nah, I tried that last month. Pretty sure it's one code per order. The free shipping over $75 does get applied automatically though, which is nice.

Yeah, I think most places do one code at a time. Your best bet might be to wait for a bigger holiday sale if you can, sometimes those are 20% off.

how do these guys compare to David's Tea? Looking for a new source for loose leaf but David's can be hit or miss for me now.

D Dan Walsh 4 weeks ago
Organic Origins is way better quality IMO, especially for the pure teas. Less of the sugary blends, more focus on actual good tea. David's is fine for fun stuff but OOT has better staples.

I find Organic Origins to be more 'serious' tea, if that makes sense. More traditional and higher quality sourcing. David's is more about trendy flavors. Depends what you're looking for, but for good Earl Grey or Sencha, OOT wins.

Just wondering about shipping to like, New York City? How long does it usually take for orders to get there?

S Steve G. 1 month ago
Mine took about a week and a half to get to Boston last time. So probably something similar for NYC? It's coming from Canada.

Depends on customs sometimes. I've had orders arrive in 5 days to Buffalo, other times it's been closer to 10. Just gotta factor that in.

Thinking of trying their ceremonial matcha. Is it actually good quality? I've been burned by 'ceremonial' grade before that was just culinary.

S Steve 1 month ago
It's legit. I'm pretty picky and their ceremonial matcha is really vibrant and smooth. No bitterness, makes a great whisk.

Yeah, I use it daily. It's definitely true ceremonial grade. You can tell by the color and how it froths up.
